Taipei Medical University Library

TMU Library strives to provide the best quality of service in medical research and education. It contains plenty of academic electronic resources while continuously improving the quality and quantity of services to fulfill every patron’s needs. Currently, the library has subscriptions to around 17,000 e-Journal titles, 90,000 e-books, and 120 different e-Databases.

Free access:

  • TMU student ID card
  • TMU & TMU affiliated hospitals’ staff ID card
  • Temporary library card (in exchange for the National ID card)

Sports facilities:

To improve physical health of our local community, TMU provides multiple indoor and outdoor sports venues, including basketball/ volleyball/ tennis courts, field turf, swimming pool, rock climbing, etc. Venues are open for reservation to the public and only limited facilities need to pay an extra fee.

Breastfeeding Room:

To provide a comfortable and private breastfeeding environment for staff, TMU’s breastfeeding room is equipped with sofa, storage shelf, trash bin, refrigerator, wash basin, emergency phone, sterilization machine, etc.

Da-an campus: 12th floor


Accessible Facilities: 

TMU upholds the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The University constructs and upgrades educational facilities including accessible ramp, stairway, toilet, parking lots and so on to ensure access to those with disabilities and provide them with a safe, non-violent, non-discriminatory education and effective learning environment, thereby protecting their educational rights and reducing their learning disadvantages.

Prayer Room:

In 2019, TMU established a prayer room equipped with the holy Quran, prayer rugs, and washing facilities. To create a Muslim-friendly campus, a suitable prayer room is vital for TMU’s growing Muslim student population.
