International Climate Development Institute (ICDI) is a non-profit organisation that focuses on developmental rights in face of climate change impacts. Our think tank provides professional knowledge and profound skills in climate governance. Through the public-private partnership (PPP) approach, we engage in the planning and implementation processes of Taiwan's national climate policy. To communities and vulnerable groups affected by extreme climate events, we empower them through capacity building, fostering climate resilience, and achieving sustainable livelihoods.
ICDI consistently participates in international climate conferences, such as the annual Conference of the Parties (COP) and Board Meetings of the Green Climate Fund (GCF). We are also part of Climate Action Network (CAN) International, the representative of the UNFCCC-COP environmental non-governmental organization, and official partnerships with Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI).
