2025 THE Impact Rankings – TMU Ranked 101–200 Globally

On June 18, 2025, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the results of the 2025 Impact Rankings, which assess universities’ contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A total of 2,152 universities worldwide were included, with 53 from Taiwan.
Taipei Medical University (TMU) ranked in the 101–200 tier globally, maintaining its strong performance in sustainable development and international visibility. TMU tied for 5th in Taiwan, alongside Tunghai University.

Among the 17 SDGs, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being was a highlight, where TMU achieved an impressive 18th place globally, reflecting its long-term efforts and impact in medical care, public health, health education, and global health initiatives.

TMU also performed strongly in SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. These results showcase the university’s interdisciplinary innovation across medicine, technology, and industry, along with its commitment to sustainability through industry-academia collaboration, innovation incubation, and international partnerships.

Looking ahead, Taipei Medical University will continue to integrate medical expertise with sustainable governance, advancing the UN SDGs and striving toward its vision of becoming a world-class medical university.
